Day 07: Post a picture of the band that you've seen that gave the best performance and why

I can't pick one, but above is a collage of my unranked list of 5 all time favorites. And I'm not even gonna start explaining why for each artist because that's just asking to turn this into a 5000 word tl;dr essay.

Wait, how about I explain each one with a descriptive word or two? Whether they make sense to anyone else is anyone's guess, lol.

Plus One: lol, umm...spazzy flaily boy?
Family Force 5: pure insanity
Escape From Earth: pick/stick tricks
Linkin Park: singalong awesomeness
Adam Lambert: fierce dorkface

Oh if only you knew how many times I changed the words I used for Adam, lol.

I really enjoyed seeing Plus One live. I saw them at every tour in every incarnation, but the Exodus Tour was probably my favorite. Hearing Poor Man live was pretty much the best thing everrrrr. <3<3

(I may have said this to you before but you have no idea how happy it makes me to know someone who also loved them. haha.)

I loved Exodus era Plus One! I think they won over a ton of new fans with that. I remember seeing one of their first shows as a trio, co-headlining with Skillet. The guys sitting behind me had been very vocal about their displeasure of having to sit through "some dumb boyband," but after the fact were talking non-stop about how great they turned out to be.

Poor Man was amazing live! I loved how they updated their older songs to fit their new sound as well. I still wish they had rerecorded some.

You're the only person I know outside of family members that also loved them. It's awesome! :)

I am still very sad they never released a tour DVD or a live album. D: They were all so fantastic live. I know they had that "Plus One Home Video" thing (which I haven't watched in ages because it's on VHS! lol!) and a behind the scenes recording of Obvious. SO GOOD. I remember on the Exodus Tour they had Nathan behind the piano a lot, and I loved listening to him play their old songs.

And of course this was before the days when everyone took video of everything and uploaded it to YouTube. :( I didn't do a lot of journaling or anything back then so I literally have NO record of their concerts except for a few scraps here and there (two random pages of me freaking out because Nate threw his water bottle at me. lmao. Also, a somewhat blurry picture of Gabe on the guitar.). It's sad. It's why nowadays I am careful to keep a record of everything I feel is important.

Yeah, it makes me so sad they were around right before the digital camera era and Youtube really picked up. How I'd love it to be like it is now where we have video footage of just about every single show an artist ever performed. Current fandom's are so spoiled! lol
